Forty Winks

“Go to sleep,” she said

Over a faint humming shine

“Dig deep-

Until the alive meet the dead

And everything is fine-“

Sleep and dream

Eternity will deem

Everything forever

Until I hear a requiem

And forget to breathe

Again-

Lay down your head

And close your eyes

The next world

Is just a surprise

Conscious again

In some other dreams

For there is more

Than what today,

It seems-

Suns let new life rise

Let us let go of our lies-

Do you regret how they see you?

The way they believed your eyes?

Create your own reality

Love shines in everything

Look at endless possibilities

And then close your eyes

And fade away…

Don’t worry, my child

You will see another day

And find a new place to play

One day, one day-
