And the Sun Let Go: the Second Novel in the Laenif Trilogy

And the Sun Let Go (Laenif: Book Two)

by BW Derge

First published in 2020, 'And the Sun Let Go' starts with two and a half chapters of poetry, representing the stream of consciousness of one of the book's main characters, Dan. Trudging through life as a drunk, depressed bartender in New York City, his day is wildly changed when a man with angel-like wings transposes his existence to another planet: Laenif.

On Earth, his abandoned wife named Andrea tries to continue on without him. She befriends Jerry, who just returned from India and is emotionally exhausted and worn out - just like her. On Laenif, Dan finds a new love as well - an alien girl named Aethetica.
