Untitled Series about a Character Named "Steve"
Episode 6: "One Night at a Bar..."
The bartender slammed another glass down. "You want anything to eat tonight?"
Steve's bloodshot eyes rattled as he shook his head. The noisy bar behind him felt distant as he grabbed the beer and pulled it to his lips. "I'm not hungry," he mumbled to nothing. The bartender was already with another patron and the smoky air encircling him couldn't respond. Steve's head sank, his chin brushing against the top of his chest.
A shrill voice pierced the atmosphere around him. "Hey!"
He glanced up at the blonde. She was wearing tight clothes to show off her hips. A desperate smile stretched across a face drenched in too much make-up. "Hey." Steve's lazy smirk made shaggy cheeks hang off his wasted expression even more-so.
"You look drunk," she shouted over the noise.

"I'm a writer."
"Cool." The young lady forced out a giggle. "Written anything good?"
"No," Steve answered. "Not at all. Can I buy you a drink?"
"Well sure!"
