Infinite Loops: Thinking About Thinking
First thing I think I must say is that you better get used to the words think & thought if you’re going to read my thoughts. So let’s get to it…think. Thought. Think. Thought think thought think though think thought think. Thing. Thought. Think. Cool. Okay, now you think something. Start a new thought of your own, experience that thought and then remember that thought. Then think your thought along with my thought and you’ll realize, beneath the appearances and differences, both thoughts are the same because they were both thought by something thinking. Think you get it?
I was thinking a thought today; I was thinking a thought of thinking fading away. And with this thought, I molded words out of clay, and then the thinking passed away. Everything is not thinking, some things have already been thought, think about it.
You're thinking about thinking and you think you’re something, you think you know what you’re thinking about, but then your thinking becomes your time and your thoughts have all been thought, and you run out of time. You get up, and you run away. Things don’t die, you just think things die. Things just keep on thinking, and when they die- they’re still thinking about something somewhere.
The only way to run away from all this thought, is to stop thinking. Be here now. Remember.
Stars and galaxies are just the thoughts of the universe. They think and they think and they think until they burst and they spiral out into millions of thoughts. But if you think about it, thoughts aren’t words, words just represent thought. It’s like if you and me are standing next to each other, or at least we think we’re standing next to each other, and if I think I should throw my arm in the air, and I do throw my arm in the air, you think you saw that motion. And because you and I sprouted from the same thoughts, and we both remember the feelings associated with the words we remember- then we both can agree that what we both thought I did was called motion. Was it really motion? Well, no, it was still just a thought.
Now if the sun is a thought of the universe, and the earth a thought of the sun- then I am a thought of the Earth. I am the Earth thinking. And the Earth has a magnificent mind, it thinks about flowers and trees and waterfalls and oceans and thinks about the sun and it thinks about the moon and it thinks thoughts all the time. But those aren’t The Earth’s thoughts; we just can think they are. See thinking is the function of the mind and the mind is the thinker of the universe. It’s consciousness, and sometimes it goes to sleep so it can stop thinking and start dreaming up new thoughts. Dreams are thoughts thinking beyond thought and beyond consciousness. Dreams tell us the only truth- there is no truth, but there is love.
LOVE.
Love is what beauties lay beyond our thought; it is the reason we think. Love is thought. Love is what gives birth to thoughts, love is what flows through thoughts, but love is as well what kills thoughts. Love is a divine whisper of the mind, making thoughts about existence. Existence is the current thought. Right now. Here. Forever. The thing about thought is that it never really happened unless you think it did.
Because if you think that thought that thinks something didn’t happen, then you think you realize that thoughts are empty.
Thoughts are the thoughts of the void.
